Route 82 Streetscape Improvements (NJDOT)

Contract work included the installation of 22,000 SY of decorative sidewalks and pavers, 20,000 LF of Curb , 1200 LF of Belgium Block Curb, granite curb, , decorative light poles, landscaping, and drainage improvements throughout the cities of Union and Elizabeth. Contract also included traffic signalization of (4) intersections, Gas and Water Utility relocations, and Milling and Paving throughout the entire Contract limits including 14,000 Tons of Asphalt.

Route 206 in Chester (NJDOT)

Contract work included the installation of a new drainage system with over 6,000 LF of RCCP, 120 Drainage Structures, and 2 Detention Basins. Flatwork included the installation of 2,000 SY of Sidewalk, 1,700 SY of Brick Pavers, and 16,000 LF of curb on Route 206 in Chester. Work also included the installation of a 750' Long Decorative Retaining Wall with a hand installed stone veneer finish installed by master masons. Road work included the realignment of Maple Ave, a new Connector Road, widening of the Route 206NB Roadway, a new Traffic Signal Intersection, Gas and Water Utility relocations, Highway Lighting, Landscaping, and Milling and Paving throughout the entire contract limits.

Route 22 Traffic Signal Improvements / ITS Closed Lop system (NJDOT)

The contract work included the creation of an integrated system interconnecting eighteen traffic signals into one Controlled Traffic Signal System (CTSS). This includes the complete replacement of the existing traffic signal systems at five intersections and geometric improvements and signal modifications to seven other intersections. In addition, the project includes the installation of: Six new traffic cameras for the Camera Surveillance System (CSS), four (4) Travel Time System (TTS), two (2) new permanent electronic Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) and fiber optic wireless communication connecting the entire new integrated system to the Statewide Traffic Management Center in Woodbridge.
